Travel
Just a quick reminder for myself of the places I've been and the sights I've seen.

I didn't take many pictures that I can post - my travel companion doesn't like being posted online, but one of my favorite parts of this trip (other than the concert!) was walking along the Boardwalk and beach. Yes, it was February so much of it was closed off, and there was snow on the ground, but the sand was clear and beautiful and there were still sights to see, such as Lucy the Elephant.
This concert was amazing. I have loved Three Days Grace for a long time, but I was introduced to The Funeral Portrait during this show and I immediately fell in love. There was another band but I didn't enjoy them at all - 3DG and TFP were more than enough and I think this is my favorite show I've ever been to.
During my recent trip to Canada, I spent a day on Toronto. With my friends, we took a train that ended up at the Union Station.
Then, we boarded a tourist bus. It was a double-decker, hop-on/hop-off tour and it was a lot of fun, though the timing didn't quite work the way we expected and we ended up making 1 1/2 circles around.
The ride was great. I really like buildings, so I took a lot of pictures of skyscrapers and other buildings. I have no idea what some of them are, but they looked neat, so I snapped away.
I loved seeing all the flowers and plants all over the buildings. It's very pretty.
This was my first solo trip (though I did meet friends once I got near Canada), and I was very out of my comfort zone. This trip opened my eyes to what travel can be like - it doesn't have to be the miserable experience it always was when I was first married and traveled with my ex-husband. Traveling can be relaxing and fun, and I hope to do more of it!
